Pops of Color to Add to Your Home Decor in 2022

by Alexa Robel
After the snow has melted, the temperatures start rising and trees begin to bud, you may find yourself looking to give your home a bit of a revival too. Redecorating and refreshing don’t have to be so daunting. We suggest simply changing out the accent colors of your home decor as a simple and affordable way to give your home the new look it deserves. Adding pops of color here and there can make all the difference in a space. Here are the colors for 2022 you should be adding to your home!

Emma Textured Jacobean Window Curtain Panel

Subdued Babouche Yellow

Mixed between a bright and mustard yellow, this shade of yellow will naturally add a springy feel to your space. Adding this color via a throw pillow, blanket or even a window curtain in your den or living room is a great way to add light to a relatively darker room.

Pink vase

Pair Pinks and Oranges

Copper and metal accents make for great hardware and decorative accent pieces like vases and figurines. This neutral yet vibrant pallet will create a calm and airy aesthetic for your kitchen, bathroom or living room. Dusty pinks pair well with shades of greens, grays and whites.

Plants on shelf

Shades of Green

You have probably spent plenty of time outside over the past few years and we are noticing those shades of greens are making their way indoors. Add green to your space by adding faux plants, throw blankets or window curtains to the room you are looking to spruce up.

Pantone’s Very Peri

Pantone’s Color of the Year, Very Peri reflects global innovation and transformation. Pair this vibrant shade with neutrals such as taupes, eggshell or browns. Try incorporating it with wallpaper, or using different textured textiles such as velvet, leather or suede.
