Triangle Home Fashions has also created the Make-A-Wish Bedroom Collection by Lush Decor and will donate 5% of the wholesale cost from each item sold within these collections to Make-A-Wish to help grant even more life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. The Make-A-Wish Bedroom Collection was created as a reminder that a wish is more than a dream; it emphasizes the power of hope and joy.
Every 34 minutes, on average, a wish is granted somewhere in the country. During a family’s darkest days, wishes can inspire hope, uplift spirits and encourage the belief in the impossible. Whether it’s a wish to have a puppy, makeover their bedroom, meet a celebrity or be a superhero, each wish allows kids to replace fear with confidence, anxiety with hope and sadness with joy.
Jenny Zhu Cohen, Triangle Home Fashions CEO, highlights the importance of giving back: “The Triangle team wants to make a difference. As we continue to chase our dreams, we want to help children realize their dreams. We are both humbled and excited to partner with Make-A-Wish to ensure more kids have wish experiences -- because wishes matter."
"We know that wishes can help a child build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight their critical illness,” said Holly Thomas, vice president of corporate alliances, Make-A-Wish America. “The unique items available as part of this bedroom collection will not only inspire kids to think big, but will also make an impact on the wishes we’re able to grant as a result of the funds raised through this campaign.”
For many, the wish marks a turning point in the fight against their illnesses. Doctors, nurses and other health professionals say, the wish experience works in concert with medicine to make their patients feel better emotionally and even physically. That is why wishes matter. That is why Make-A-Wish grants wishes.
